Evidence-Based Intervention (EBI) Training in Education (“EBITE”)
October 6 – November 7, 2023

Are you looking for hands-on experience using the Ohio Evidence-based Clearinghouse (OEBC) and other sources for locating EBIs?
Do you need practical tools to guide decisions around use of EBIs? EBITE can help!

Times: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Workshop Details
- There is no registration fee to attend the training.
- If accepted, participants are expected to be in attendance for all four sessions of the workshop. The first session on Friday, October 6th, will be in person at The Ohio State University. The following three sessions will be held online.
- A dedicated learning management system (LMS) will be available for all participants. All workshop materials will be freely available in electronic and/or paper form.
- Lunch and coffee/tea breaks will be provided on October 6th.
- Travel and transportation to and from the workshop venue are the responsibility of the participant.
- Participants will be responsible for parking at the workshop venue (1900 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43210) through the ParkMobile App.

WORKSHOP GOALS
- Strengthen capacity for State Support Teams (SSTs) and Regional Data Leads (RDLs) to assist schools/districts in using evidence-based interventions (EBIs) to improve student/school outcomes.
- Gain hands-on experience using the Ohio Evidence-based Clearinghouse and inform development of Ohio’s EBI Decision-Making Toolkit.
- Reinforce skills/knowledge around school/district needs and decision-making processes when selecting and implementing EBIs.
