This visualization represents the flow of graduates from Ohio's public colleges and universities (on the left) to Ohio's workforce (on the right). If you hover over any path, a box appears that identifies the award area from which that group graduated, and the industry of their employers, as well as their median earnings.
The default visualization shows the 2019 graduating cohort of Bachelor’s degrees one year after graduation. However, using the dropdown menu you can view data for any cohort 2009-2019. Further, drag the slider to the right to view industry of employment up to ten years following graduation. Finally, view outcomes for completers of other award areas by using the Award dropdown.
The Data Details provides technical information about the data behind this visualization. Some filter selections return a “No data available” message. This is because the employment data is not yet available or because there is insufficient data for that category. Adjust the selections to choose an earlier cohort year, reduce the number of years post graduation, and/or choose a more common award such as Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
