The Ohio Education Research Center (OERC), in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education and Battelle for Kids is offering a half-day session, Extend Your Learning through Research that Works, on June 18, following the 2014 Connect for Success Conference.
Ohio practitioners—specifically pre-K, K–12, and higher education teacher leaders and administrators—researchers, policymakers, and others interested in education are invited to learn about the results from important Ohio-based research with K–12 educators and education stakeholders, help inform the OERC agenda, and build connections. Interactive sessions with researchers will allow practitioners to impact where the research goes next. Discussion topics include: student growth measures, student learning objectives, OTES/OPES, early literacy, the Third Grade Reading Guarantee, and workforce outcomes for students.
